(40) To be or not to be

莎劇中有句名句： “To be or not to be, that is the question!” 很難翻譯。有人譯作： “活好，還是死？那是問題。”
那是哈姆雷特王子面對生與死之間抉擇的悲鳴；那是活與不活、「做與不做」之間、默默接受命運還是以行動回應或反彈之間的無奈表白。有人說那是因為他這話觸及生命本質的哲理，直指人生的終極答案而成為千古絕唱。

對霎哈嘉士來說，應該說 : “To be or not to be, that is NOT a question!” – 做與不做，發生不發生，不是問題。也可以說:“To be or not to be, that should NOT be a question!”

也想為原句來個下聯，對很多人來說，總過不了額輪一關： “Forget and forgive, that is the point.” – 忘記與寬恕，那才是重點。或可以是 "Forget and forgive, that is the way.” – 忘記與寬恕，那才是出路。
