130. Sunil in HK and performance at Club-O

Recollection of Performance at Club-O (HK News 2009.6.20)

Dear all,

By the grace of Shri Mataji, we were lucky to accomplish the performance at Club-O last night with great success.

This was our second time performing at Club-O. Last time it was 4 months ago, with very positive feedback, as such many seekers came to our classes afterwards. This time, things went even further.

It was such a Divine plan that Sunil from Sahaja Yoga Research and Health Center ( accompanied by Uncle from Belapur) , were invited by a Yogini from Mainland China to come to the China National Seminar later this month. As such Suzanne of HK coordinated their trip via HK to stop over first for one week to share their music knowledge with us, and boost level of the bhajan group here. The performance ahead became a very good reason and catalyst for HK yogis to learn new songs fast and diligently.

The venue was not big, Thursday night we had around 50 very good seekers in the audience. Around 12 Sahaja yogis came to support, on top of the 18 who performed (some are very spontaneous, they just followed the flow and the Divine call from inside).

We started by a brief introduction of our guest artist joining us, and asking the audience to put attention on the top of their heads and, and to understand that bhajans are devotional songs which will have maximum effect if the audience themselves desire for or believe in blessings or connection with the all pervading power of God’s love. Then, the performance started with the Maha-mantra and, then music flowed well and just touched their hearts, kundalini awakened and the Spirits dancing with joy.

Before we finished, without using the normal realization procedure, we simply asked the audience to try the simple meditation technique of focusing on the gap between 2 thoughts, and clearing the Agyna chakra by saying “I forgive” if they feel necessary. Then the electric fans were turned off so they could feel the vibration of themselves and others.

There was great joy shown in the audience’s faces throughout the programme . It was great blessing for us to witness all these.

As said before, Club-O has the highest density of seekers in HK, though some may be misled into wrong paths. Their vegetarian and green thinkings make them care more about their own body and physical and spiritual health than the public. Some stayed in meditation all the way through, some were so attracted by our singing or the music instruments.

Before we concluded the night, the vice-chairman of Club-O openly gave some very positive feedback on the microphone and thanked us again sincerely. Then we invited the crowd to speak out their feelings. Several say they felt the vibration so strong inside, in a turning or spiral way in the body, on the palm or above the head. Someone said she really felt the silence within, even though the songs may have strong beats. Some had tears.

After the programme, most of them stayed to have some chatting with us. A lady teaching in a school for mentally retarded children said she would like to invite us to perform in her school. And the vice-chairman of Club-O said she would definitely arrange another session for us soon, and maybe 4 hours in a Sunday afternoon, so that we can incorporate some more kinds of workshop, especially dancing, or chanting or healing with music.

We must thank Sunil and uncle for teaching us new songs, and polished up our techniques and pronunciation for old songs, and giving subtle inspirations and encouragement. Must thank Louie and Sing for logistics, photo and video filming. Must thank Suzanne for arranging practice sessions and, Helen (Shengzhen collective ) for subsidizing their air tickets. Thank you all for making the task of Mother’s work accomplished so beautifully.
